In harsh environments where corrosion and electrical sparks pose potential threats, our factory produces silent guardians of safety and reliability—silicon bronze screws. They are not merely connectors, but a promise: unparalleled corrosion resistance and explosion-proof safety in marine, chemical, mining, and flammable/explosive environments. The birth and journey of each gleaming silicon bronze screw is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship.
Our journey begins with that unique copper alloy—silicon bronze.
Silicon bronze wire, while maintaining excellent castability and machinability, possesses strength, elasticity, and remarkable corrosion resistance far exceeding that of pure copper. We use a spectrometer for rapid compositional analysis to ensure the purity of this "noble lineage."
Unlike steel, silicon bronze is softer and has excellent ductility, but it is more sensitive to pressure and molds. After proper surface lubrication, the wire is fed into a precision cold heading machine. Under immense pressure, the screw shank and head are initially shaped. For complex hexagonal heads or grooved pan heads, we typically use a two- or three-stage cold heading process to ensure the head is fully filled and free of any cracks or folds. At this point, the screw has a basic "body," but lacks its true form.
This is a crucial step in giving the screw its soul. The partially shaped screw blank is fed into a high-speed thread rolling machine. At room temperature, it is rolled by two thread rolling wheels with opposite threads, continuously squeezing and flowing the metal fibers to form a smooth, continuous, and high-strength thread. Our machine operators, like sculptors, meticulously adjust the pressure and displacement to ensure that the thread accuracy reaches the 6g or 6h grade (GB/T) standard, and that 100% of the go/no-go gauge tests pass.
For silicon bronze screws requiring high strength, we perform precipitation hardening heat treatment. The screws are placed in a vacuum or protective atmosphere furnace at a specific temperature (e.g., 450°C-500°C) and held for a period of time, then rapidly cooled. This process precipitates fine intermetallic compounds, significantly improving the screw's strength and hardness, ensuring its mechanical properties (such as tensile strength and yield strength) consistently meet customer drawings or standards, while maintaining excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
Every batch of screws after molding must pass our stringent quality inspection:
Dimensional inspection: Using optical projectors, thread gauges, etc., sampling or full inspection is carried out on the head size, shank diameter, pitch, and thread accuracy.
Performance testing: Tensile and guaranteed load tests are performed on samples using a universal testing machine to ensure the mechanical properties are flawless.
Surface inspection: Under a metallographic microscope, check the surface for defects such as cracks and scratches.Salt spray test: Regularly sample and conduct neutral salt spray tests to verify that its corrosion resistance far exceeds the standard requirements, ensuring its long-term service in harsh environments.

Products that pass rigorous inspection then proceed to the final stage of delivery.
Silicon bronze is a valuable material with stringent requirements for surface finish. We tailor packaging solutions to meet specific customer needs and transportation conditions.
Small Packaging: Pack a fixed number of screws (e.g., 100/500/1000 pieces) into a high-strength plastic self-sealing bag to prevent oxidation or discoloration during transportation and storage, then pack them into an outer neutral cardboard box, clearly labeling the product name, specifications, material, and batch number.
Outer Packaging: Use export-grade fumigation-free wooden pallets. Affix prominent labels.
In the warehouse shipping area, the shipping clerk will hold the shipping order and conduct a final check:
"Order" and "Goods" Verification: Ensure that the product specifications, quantity, batch number, and order details are completely consistent with the order.
Verification of "Order" and "Documents": Ensure that all products are accompanied by corresponding quality documents such as the "Material Certificate" and "Factory Inspection Report." These documents are the final proof of the screws' identity and should be shipped with the product.
Based on our customers' geographical location and time requirements, we select the most reliable logistics partners.
Domestic land transportation: For large orders, we use dedicated road transport lines. When loading, we ensure that the goods are securely fixed to avoid collapse or collision during transportation.
Emergency Air Freight: For customers' urgent production materials, we will prioritize air freight and inform the customer of the waybill number in advance for tracking purposes.
International Shipping: For export orders, packaging is more stringent. Wooden crates must meet ISPM15 international quarantine standards, and a full set of customs documents must be prepared in advance. We will track the cargo ship's movements in real time until the customer successfully clears customs and picks up the goods.
Our service doesn't end after the goods are shipped. Our customer service staff will proactively track the logistics information and contact the customer after the estimated delivery time to confirm that the goods have arrived intact. We also humbly listen to customer feedback on product quality and packaging, which will become a valuable asset for our continuous improvement.
From a unique copper alloy to a precision-engineered, high-performance silicon bronze screw, and finally to its safe delivery to the customer, this is more than just a product relocation; it's our factory's ultimate interpretation of "reliability." We deeply understand that every screw we deliver could become an indispensable part of a critical piece of equipment, a massive ocean liner, or a safety facility. Therefore, we respect processes and adhere to standards, because what we deliver is a weighty responsibility and a trust.
